I’ve got floral fever. Last time you guys saw me, I was embracing the wonderful lifestyle of Flower Power Forever and today I can assure you that nothing has changed. It’s been a bit rainy and gloomy so I decided to opt for a nice oversized sweater with this simple zipper detailing, but at the end of the day I am a creature of habit. I said yes to those floral print pants and I feel no shame from it. Continue on my fellow floral lovers. Continue on in your greatness. ✿ ❀ ✿ ❀
Floral on floral on floral on floral. I’m super excited for fall, but it’s still fairly warm outside in the southern United States, so I decided to momentarily embrace those vibes while I still can and pair together this ensemble. I’m no stranger to floral print and floral print amplified in my outfit is always a plus. In that spirit I paired this somewhat ornately illustrated floral print blouse with my antique style floral print overall dress. I skipped accessories this time around because the top and skirt make enough of a statement on their own for now, but who knows. I may revisit this look again and go floral print Xtreme.
This morning I had planned to stay in bed watching YouTube videos of people eating burgers from various fast food restaurants and telling the camera which is their favorite. I love a good burger, but I tend to love a good outing a bit more, so when I received a call from a friend asking if I wanted to hit up Michaels with her I was like, “✅✨🔥” (translation: “That sounds like a great time”). I got completely ready in a record breaking 15 minutes and went for that very simply but also mildly cool aesthetic. Rather than trying to fool around with prints I paired this basic black tank dress from F21 with a fringe necklace for statement and color. Then, because I’m overeager for fall, I added on this basic black cardigan from CATO Fashion.
