Not Another Blue Centric Outfit Post

As my 18th birthday is around the corner, I have recently acquired a new camera in the form of an early birthday present. Unfortunately, new tech does not automatically lead to new skill and I’m still in the process of figuring out how to use it, so please bear with me if all of my photos don’t look as pretty as my photos of Animal Kingdom and Cinderella’s castle.

In other news, I’m in the process of trying to get used to wearing sandals. I’d speculate that these ones that I recently bought from Wet Seal are probably the first pair I’ve been willing to wear in about 5 or 6 years and they have me feeling pretty vulnerable in the toe and foot area. To be honest, I thought my feet had been featured on YouTube star Kingsley’s podcast, because they were feeling pretty “overexposed” the entire time I walked around Disney World in them a couple of weeks ago.  Slowly but surely, I am getting used to them in all of their arch support-lacking, studded glory.

Question: Do you guys like sandals in the summer time or do they leave you feeling a bit exposed? I need to know that I’m not the only one who thinks like this.

  2. Love the print on your jeans! And I normally only wear sandals when I’m going to the pool or not doing a lot of walking. The lack of arch thing really kills my feet after a while haha

    1. Thanks! I did the jeans myself some time ago when I was a more motivated person. And it is beginning to appear as if a lot of cute sandals are made to be more fashionable than functional (which isn’t a complete deal breaker in my books).

  3. DIY jeans? impressive!
It might help if you use natural light. I just recently learned this technique from other bloggers. And what do you know, my pictures improved a lot (but still need some work done) 🙂
