Yesterday I had the very lovely opportunity to experience terror that is going shopping on the Sunday before Christmas. It nearly scared the procrastination out of me. On the bright side, I did get a baked potato and a nice trip to Cinnabon for my troubles. 🙂
This probably one of the most festive-type outfits I’ve put together and it’s not even Christmas yet (the pressure is now on for me to one up myself)! I’m not typically one for mixing various patterns-which tends to be quite boring, but I can’t trust myself to get it right-but I just couldn’t resist with this outfit. Black and white outfits are my favorite and with a splash of a bold color like red…well, you’d better believe if I had the wardrobe to support it I’d be wearing it every other day.
On another note, my family and I have finally gotten around to putting up our tree (we usually put it up the day after Thanksgiving but it’s been cold and we’ve been collectively lazy) and I’m honestly still in love with the bow from last year. Angels and stars are definitely the more traditional way to go, but there’s something about giant bows that make the tree a present in itself.
I’ve finally conceded to the fact that I’m going to have to start taking photos inside while the weather outside is being all crazy. I’m currently living in my own winter wonderland but instead of being surrounded by snow, there’s ice everywhere. In the meantime I’ve just been hanging out at my house, drinking caramel hot cocoa and reacquainting myself with every sweater I’ve ever purchased. On the bright side, I have discovered a new found anime love in Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) and am currently marathon watching every episode. If you haven’t seen it and you aren’t opposed to some onscreen violence (it gets kind of gore-y at times), I definitely recommend it. It’s great and better than I expected and I’m about to go watch some more episodes as soon as this is posted! 🙂
